Yesterday , we had a Christmas Service at Singapore Indoor Stadium. For Praise and Worship we sang Christmas Songs and some worship songs then Pastor Prince came up to preach. After the service , we went to Jack's Place to eat lunch with Abigail , Charity and Grace's families.After that Charity went to buy her spectacles.By that time it was already 6.30 pm and Abigail's family went home already.After that, the rest of us went to Charity's house to play( computer and PlayStation). We then ate dinner and then continue playing . On the PlayStation , we played SXX3 , car racing and SpongeBobSquarePants. We played while the adults talked.We left at 11 .30pm so late lah.But it was really fun.=) Can't wait for 2moro.

Standered Chartered Kids Dash 2007
Yesterday , Grace , Rachel , Dawne , my sister , Dawne's cousin and I went for the Standered Chartered 750 meters Kids Dash . It was not a competition but still Dawne and I tested our limits and we came in top 30 -100 position. But the winner does not get any prize becos everyone who completes the race gets a finishing medal. It was quite fun but the sad thing was we could not try the games becos we had to meet our Daddies who went for the 10 km run at Marina Food Court so we did not have time to play the games . Another sad thing was I could not go to church becos of the run.Boo Wah!='(

DARE Encounter Jesus 3 Camp
EJ Camp was on 27 November - 1 December 2007
Day 1
We reached Suntec City Level 6 at 7.45 a.m. to take the coach to Marriott Hotel IOI Putrajaya. Once my bus (Bus 2) was ready we set off at 10 am. We stopped for lunch at a Chinese restaurant . The food was nice and within 10 secs nearly each dish was empty( we were that hungry cos it was like about 2.15pm.)My bus arrived at the hotel at about 4.30pm. My bus was one of the latest bus becos some buses reached there at 2-3 pm.So both of my room mates already arrived .So they already jumped on the bed . Boo Wah=(! So we checked in and had half an hour to relax. My roommates are Rachel Shelia Zavior and Charity and we had the room to ourselves.The best thing about our room is that we don't hav a balcony but we have to climb out of the window and then there will be another short wall to prevent us from falling .It was very fun but dangerous.After that we went down to the ballroom for camp briefing at 5.30pm. Then we had dinner and went up to our rooms to take our bible , stationery , notebook ,etc.Then we went to the ballroom for the camp opening and an awesome time of service.We(DARE) were the first Singaporeans to sing the latest Hillsong song.The service ended at 11 pm and the curfew was at 12pm.So on the way up, the lift lobby was jammed up becos all 500 of us DARE youths had to go back to our rooms.So when we reached our rooms , Rachel , Charity and I(RCI) ate some cookies for our supper , bathe and then talked silently cos we pasted the curfew already and then went to sleep at about 12 .30am.
Day 2
We woke up at 6.10 am becos it was freezing even though the temperature was only 21 degrees . So we climbed out to our "balcony" to get some heat and then went to wash up . We had our breakfast then went back to our room to get our bibles for the Men's & Women's Meeting.Some girls from my DG (DNA) were sleeping during the Women's Meeting .
After that we ate lunch and went to play Mighty Men Games. We had to play 15 stations of games within a time limit.But my group did not manage to finish all the games but the games were really fun. There were some dirty games like blind-folding us and then we had to cross many obstacles like climbing onto a table and crawling under another table and stepping on Colgate toothpaste with our bare feet in a dark room ( but it was very fun =D).So after the Mighty Mens Games we washed up , ate dinner and went for a wonderful time of praise and worship.This time we ended at 11.45pm thus the curfew was at 12.32am.So after the service, my DG (DNA) gather to pray for Phoebe as she was sick and then we went back to our rooms. RCI went to eat some of the Ovaltine biscuits Charity brought and then went to sleep.
Day 3
We woke up and then went to eat breakfast as a DG and then all the ppl went to the ballroom.After that we split up for Level Time Out.So we Level 1 D.C. stayed at the ballroom while the rest of the levels went to other smaller ballrooms. So first we started to play some pre-service games. Teacher Johnny and Teacher Dora were the MC s and after that we had a dynamic time of praise and worship and after that Coach Elizabeth ( our level head )told us her testimony after she joined DARE about 15 years ago. Then Pastor Daniel told us some background about some Dare leaders such as Teacher Kevin(little Kev) and Teacher James and he also told us that we are very blessed to go to DARE . After that he showed us an illustration of a non-believer which has no roots becos he had not accepted Christ yet could be blown of by the wind but when a boy who is a believer with will have many strong roots which are also very deep becos of God's love could stand strong and would not be blown away be the wind no matter how hard the wind(devil) tries to up lift its roots.After that we ate lunch and then everybody gathered in the ballroom for the start of High School Saga(game).We were suppose to help Inspector KK Loone to solve the death of a girl called Candice with some evidence stations and questioning stations.After the game , we ate dinner and then went back to our rooms to get our bibles for the service. During the service we had an awesome time of praise and worship and then after the preaching, we were anointed with oil. Many ppl cried and some of them fell. The presence was so great.After everything we went back to our rooms bathe and then went to sleep.Zzzzz.....
Day 5
We woke up at 9am , packed our bags ,then checked out and then went to eat brunch. My bus set off at 1pm and arrived at Suntec City at 7.30pm (2 1/2 hours later then the time stated on the camp briefing list). But the sad thing was 2 buses broke down on the way.So I think they arrived back at maybe 10pm? Who knows? But I am very sad that the camp has passed in just a blink of the eye.But I enjoyed it , but I still missed it. How? I just got to wait for EJ4 next year.=D

Day 4
After eating breakfast , we gather in the ballroom,but this time b4 we go to another ballroom for the Men's & Women's Meeting Pastor Dan(Daniel) wanted us to gather together for a full band Praise and Worship session instead of one where the girls and guys have separate Praise and Worship session only with a few instruments thus it was not as dynamic.Then after that we split for the Men's & Women's Meeting . Then we ate our lunch and had a DG time out. My DG(DNA) had to change into our swimming suits becos our DGL (Teacher Johnny) allowed us to swim. We played for a while and then our DGL talked to us for a while then we went back to our rooms . But I got locked out of my room cos Charity and Rachel were from different DGs and they had the lift cards so I had to wait for them to come back cos different DGs were at different places. After they came, we bathe , wore our theme night clothes and then went for dinner.Since that was our last night, the buffet food was delicious.There was mini pizzas , spaghetti ,beef lasagna ,potato wedges, ice cream ,etc. After that we went into the ballroom for the Theme night .That night Teacher Dora and one of the coaches were the MCs. There were a few performances and after that we had praise and worship for like 3 -4 hours until the musicians needed a break and my muscles ached becos I only sat down for one minute and the rest of the time I was either jumping or standing . But it was awesome ! During the Praise & Worship , all of us were anointed with oil again and many ppl cried and more ppl fell becos the presence was so strong and Pastor Dan could just lay his hands on someone's head and say " Feel it " a few times and the youth would just fall down.So all the Royal Stewards were quite busy (I guess). But it was really a WONDERFUL , AWESOME , DYNAMIC Praise and Worship Service . Actually it goes like this( if you are confused):

Ok. But the sad thing was we didn't sing these 2 song : the blink blink song(My heart overflows) and God is moving.We ended like about 1.40am and then since it was the last night , there was no curfew.Thus after we were dismissed , there was a jam at the lobby (again) and then we changed into other clothes and then RCI went to Abigail , Annabella and Nicole's room to play.Until 2.30am , then we went back to our rooms and went to sleep.
Day 5
We woke up at 9am , packed our bags ,then checked out and then went to eat brunch. GEMS Graduation Party
Yesterday , it was the GEMS Graduation Party.It was really fun.Uncle Stephen was the photographer. We had an awesome - packed Praise and Worship by singing 4 praise songs followed by 2 worship songs.Then there were 2 performances , the first one was a performance by the 2nd service girls. Their dance moves attracted quite alot of people's attention. The next one was by a group of boys from the first service.They acted out the story from the bible.
It was really funny becos at some parts they made us laugh.By the end of the act , the audience roared with laughter. After that , 4 gemmers shared with us their testimonies . Then we had another time of Praise and Worship and followed with a phototaking session by each care group and then we all went off. So sad got to leave GEMS liao . But on Tuesday can go EJ3 Camp so excited !

DARE Welcome Party
On Saturday, we went for the DARE Welcome Party at MGS(Secondary).We went to the sports hall and played games like shoe kick , fastest fingers first , monster , charades ,crane and crows , etc. At that the best thing was we were given a DARE certificate to prove that we are now DARE youths.2 moro is the GEMS Graduation Party liao . So sad cos hav to leave GEMS.

Vietnam Trip
Ok. I am typing what I wrote in my diary during my Vietnam Trip on the 7 th November to the 13 th November. Oh ya some facts first , the time in Vietnam is one hour earlier so when singapore is 5 pm in Vietnam it is 4 pm and the currency in Vietnam goes by thousands so Singapore $1 is 10000 Dong ( Vietnam 's currency)ok? Now let's start!

Ok about Vietnam .I will just like show you what I did.(It was fun)=D
Day 1
We took the plane and went to Vietnam(Ho Chin Minh City) . Then we booked some tour packages, ate lunch then went shopping.Then went for dinner then sleep ~ nothing much.hehe....
Day 2
Once we woke up we went to the tour office called Singh Cafe and boarded the coach . We took a 6 hours ride to Mui Ne Resort.Ate lunch then check-in then we for a tour.We went to the fishing village . There were many children at the fishing village selling things such as sea-shelled necklaces and seashells.Then we went to the white sand dunes and slide down the mountains of sand .It was fun but the tired part was when we had to climb up the sand dunes to slide down again. But it was really really fun and fast.=DWe then went to the red canyon to take photos it was a mini version of the Grand Canyon. We then went back to the resort and swim becos we were not hungry.We then bathed and went to the restuarant . The children sat on one table except Joel and the adults sat on another table.We (kids) ordered pizza and spagetthi and fruit shakes like mango shake and strawberry shake.The food was really nice except for the pizza , there was too much oil so we took our spoons and pressed the pizza so the oil would come out then we poured them into a bowl.We then went to Aunty Wendy's room to watch TV(Cartoon Network in English)while the parents went to fellowship.After they fellowshiped we went back to our rooms and slept.
Day 3
We woke up went to eat breakfast then went to Aunty Wendy's room again to watch TV until the adults finish eating their breakfast.We then went to the beach to play and catch crabs . we then went to the swimming pool to swim .After that , we ate lunch and then took the coach back to Ho Chin Minh City.We left our luggage at the counter then went to the night maket to eat dinner . The night market was crowded! Then were many stalls and hawkers . We ate dinner and then went to shop. The best part was when we wanted to go home,we sat trishaws back to Dong Do hotel(its the hotel we lived in).It was very fun and relaxing . We then paid the trishaw riders and went back to the hotel . Back at the hotel , my sister and I watch Casper the friendly ghost movie on Disney Channel in English (of course!) b4 we went to sleep . It was a nice movie...
Day 4
Rise and shine! We ate breakfast then went to Sinh Cafe to go for another tour. On the coach the tour guide gave us some riddles.We went to the bum boat station and sat a boat to a village.We went to a rice paper factory.It was real fun . They showed us how to make rice paper then we bought some and headed on. We stopped at one stop to eat lunch.The food prepared by the villagers was DELICIOUS.The soup was sweet , the chicken was nice the rice was soft but the spring roll was a little too not nice.hehe=D. We then went to sit the bum boat to another village. We took a pony ride .The children(except Joel) took one cart while the adults took the other cart.It was real fun but if you sit near the pony , you can smell its poo . Stinky! We then went to the bee farm.They let us eat some sugar coated peanuts , coconut sweets and let us drink honey and lemon juice.Hmmm........yummy=D.They after that showed us how the y attracted honey and let us take some photos with snakes if we wanted to but I didn't so Grace , Rachel , Ezekiel and I went to see some guinea pigs and that was when a red bee came over and stung me on my left arm . It was so painful lah until I cried then the tour guide came and took me to a hut .The lady took some honey , took out the needle and spreaded the honey on the wound.The pain lasted for about half an hour.During that half an hour we took a boat ride along the river.The children except Joel (as usual ) sat in one boat and the adults sat in another and during the ride , my sister pulled down some branches on the way to make it feel like an adventurous ride becos the branch would bounce back later.We sat the boat all the way until the bum boat .We then took the bum boat to a coconut sweet making factory . They showed us how they make coconut sweets.We tried some and my mum bought 20 packets! So much lah!After that we went back to Sinh Cafe. We then went to the night market (it is not the tour.the tour finishs once we reach Sinh Cafe) to eat dinner then as usual we shopped but now on the other side of the night market and walked back home once we finsh shopping.The distance was quite far but the adults wanted to walk so how can the children disobey?
Day 5
Actually , today there is nothing much lah. We walked to the day market after eating breakfast and by the time we reach there it was already lunchtime becos we went to the spectacles shop to make spectacles cos quite cheap.Joel , Ezekiel and Uncle Roger made 2 new pairs of spectacles and the rest of us made one pair .So when we reached the market, we ate our lunch and went to shop(what else can you do at the day & night market besides eating and shopping?) While the ladies shop for clothes , shoes ,etc. , the guys went to sports shops to check out the sport shoes and so on and the children occupied ourselves with Joel's Gameboy Advance and PSP and Ezekiel's tamagochi (ok. I don't know how to spell it).After that at about 6pm VNT (Vietnam Time) we(the children) started started to grumble so the guys bought us to Lotteria (it is a fast food restuarant in Vietnam) to eat.There were burgers , rice and chicken and fries , whatever you would get in a fast food restuarant.But the fish and chicken burger(those were the only burgers we ate) there is delicious better then KFC , Burger King and McDonalds.We enjoyed it so much lah . And overall the bill for us was only 250000 Dong /S$25 for all 9 of us .Quite cheap. We then headed back to Dong Do hotel.Once I reached the hotel , I bathe and went to sleep at 7.30pm VNT becos I was not feeling well the whole day while the rest watched a Disney Channel Movie but Joel and my sis went down to play computer.
Day 6
Wake up! We went to Sinh Cafe for another tour . It was the war tunnels in Vietnam during a war between the North and South of Vietnam . When we were suppose to go though the dark tunnels , Deborah ( my sister) cried all the way though becos she was so scared and me , i was laughing the whole time though the tunnels.=D Ha ha! After the tour , we went to PHO 24 to eat lunch then went to the day market to do more shopping then at 5.00 pm VNT we went to collect our spectacles and then went to the night market to eat dinner . Yum! the food was so delicious . The pasta and minced beef , beef noodles, crispy noodles and shabu shabu ( a type of Japanese fish) were very nice.So the whole group ordered and ordered and we ate to our fill.We then shop and then we sat the trishaw for the very last time in Vietnam it was really fun. We loved it so much. We then alighted from the trishaw and sat at the lobby .Some of us played computer but Stephanie and I played with Joel's PSP while the adults decided whether we should go to the parliament house and take some photos as it was already 12.20amVNT.So end out we went to the parliament house to take some photos and then we went back to our hotel .When we arrived at the hotel , it was closed already becos it was already 1.30amVNT so we pressed the bell and knock on the door to wake the reception who sleeps at the hotel up. So they came and opened the door and we said sorry becos we disturbed their sleep.So straight away we went to our rooms and packed and went to sleep at 2.30am.VNT
Day 7
We woke up at 6am VNT and went to eat our breakfast then rushed to the airport to take our plane back to Singapore. So sad hav to go back to Singapore.

We walked to the day market after eating breakfast and by the time we reach there it was already lunchtime becos we went to the spectacles shop to make spectacles cos quite cheap.Joel , Ezekiel and Uncle Roger made 2 new pairs of spectacles and the rest of us made one pair .So when we reached the market, we ate our lunch and went to shop(what else can you do at the day & night market besides eating and shopping?) While the ladies shop for clothes , shoes ,etc. , the guys went to sports shops to check out the sport shoes and so on and the children occupied ourselves with Joel's Gameboy Advance and PSP and Ezekiel's tamagochi (ok. I don't know how to spell it).After that at about 6pm VNT (Vietnam Time) we(the children) started started to grumble so the guys bought us to Lotteria (it is a fast food restuarant in Vietnam) to eat.There were burgers , rice and chicken and fries , whatever you would get in a fast food restuarant.But the fish and chicken burger(those were the only burgers we ate) there is delicious better then KFC , Burger King and McDonalds.We enjoyed it so much lah . And overall the bill for us was only 250000 Dong /S$25 for all 9 of us .Quite cheap. We then headed back to Dong Do hotel.Once I reached the hotel , I bathe and went to sleep at 7.30pm VNT becos I was not feeling well the whole day while the rest watched a Disney Channel Movie but Joel and my sis went down to play computer.
Day 6
Wake up! We went to Sinh Cafe for another tour . It was the war tunnels in Vietnam during a war between the North and South of Vietnam . When we were suppose to go though the dark tunnels , Deborah ( my sister) cried all the way though becos she was so scared and me , i was laughing the whole time though the tunnels.=D Ha ha! After the tour , we went to PHO 24 to eat lunch then went to the day market to do more shopping then at 5.00 pm VNT we went to collect our spectacles and then went to the night market to eat dinner . Yum! the food was so delicious . The pasta and minced beef , beef noodles, crispy noodles and shabu shabu ( a type of Japanese fish) were very nice.So the whole group ordered and ordered and we ate to our fill.We then shop and then we sat the trishaw for the very last time in Vietnam it was really fun. We loved it so much. We then alighted from the trishaw and sat at the lobby .Some of us played computer but Stephanie and I played with Joel's PSP while the adults decided whether we should go to the parliament house and take some photos as it was already 12.20amVNT.So end out we went to the parliament house to take some photos and then we went back to our hotel .When we arrived at the hotel , it was closed already becos it was already 1.30amVNT so we pressed the bell and knock on the door to wake the reception who sleeps at the hotel up. So they came and opened the door and we said sorry becos we disturbed their sleep.So straight away we went to our rooms and packed and went to sleep at 2.30am.VNT
Day 7
We woke up at 6am VNT and went to eat our breakfast then rushed to the airport to take our plane back to Singapore. So sad hav to go back to Singapore.

A visit to D.A.R.E(dead and resurected eagles)
On Saturday, The whole of GEMS visited DARE (youth ministry of new creation church)we were given a limited edition wristband like a welcome gift . When we entered we play some ice-breakers and went into our DG (DARE Groups). Actually, nearly all the Zebuluns were in the same DG , DNA- the name not the science thing.Then we went to join the service upstairs and had P&W . The music was so loud but I still enjoyed it . Then , Pator Gabriel preached to us about praise . So sad lah Pastor Dan not here , he went to Candan with Pastor Prince and a few other pastors.DARE is like the main service the adults get on Sunday.I think I will like DARE.Wonder whether Charity would change to my group cos her DG home so far.
