Christmas Service @ Singapore Indoor Stadium

Yesterday , we had a Christmas Service at Singapore Indoor Stadium. For Praise and Worship we sang Christmas Songs and some worship songs then Pastor Prince came up to preach. After the service , we went to Jack's Place to eat lunch with Abigail , Charity and Grace's families.After that Charity went to buy her spectacles.By that time it was already 6.30 pm and Abigail's family went home already.After that, the rest of us went to Charity's house to play( computer and PlayStation). We then ate dinner and then continue playing . On the PlayStation , we played SXX3 , car racing and SpongeBobSquarePants. We played while the adults talked.We left at 11 .30pm so late lah.But it was really fun.=) Can't wait for 2moro.

Standered Chartered Kids Dash 2007

Yesterday , Grace , Rachel , Dawne , my sister , Dawne's cousin and I went for the Standered Chartered 750 meters Kids Dash . It was not a competition but still Dawne and I tested our limits and we came in top 30 -100 position. But the winner does not get any prize becos everyone who completes the race gets a finishing medal. It was quite fun but the sad thing was we could not try the games becos we had to meet our Daddies who went for the 10 km run at Marina Food Court so we did not have time to play the games . Another sad thing was I could not go to church becos of the run.Boo Wah!='(

DARE Encounter Jesus 3 Camp

EJ Camp was on 27 November - 1 December 2007


Day 1
We reached Suntec City Level 6 at 7.45 a.m. to take the coach to Marriott Hotel IOI Putrajaya. Once my bus (Bus 2) was ready we set off at 10 am. We stopped for lunch at a Chinese restaurant . The food was nice and within 10 secs nearly each dish was empty( we were that hungry cos it was like about 2.15pm.)My bus arrived at the hotel at about 4.30pm. My bus was one of the latest bus becos some buses reached there at 2-3 pm.So both of my room mates already arrived .So they already jumped on the bed . Boo Wah=(! So we checked in and had half an hour to relax. My roommates are Rachel Shelia Zavior and Charity and we had the room to ourselves.The best thing about our room is that we don't hav a balcony but we have to climb out of the window and then there will be another short wall to prevent us from falling .It was very fun but dangerous.After that we went down to the ballroom for camp briefing at 5.30pm. Then we had dinner and went up to our rooms to take our bible , stationery , notebook ,etc.Then we went to the ballroom for the camp opening and an awesome time of service.We(DARE) were the first Singaporeans to sing the latest Hillsong song.The service ended at 11 pm and the curfew was at 12pm.So on the way up, the lift lobby was jammed up becos all 500 of us DARE youths had to go back to our rooms.So when we reached our rooms , Rachel , Charity and I(RCI) ate some cookies for our supper , bathe and then talked silently cos we pasted the curfew already and then went to sleep at about 12 .30am.

Day 2
We woke up at 6.10 am becos it was freezing even though the temperature was only 21 degrees . So we climbed out to our "balcony" to get some heat and then went to wash up . We had our breakfast then went back to our room to get our bibles for the Men's & Women's Meeting.Some girls from my DG (DNA) were sleeping during the Women's Meeting .
After that we ate lunch and went to play Mighty Men Games. We had to play 15 stations of games within a time limit.But my group did not manage to finish all the games but the games were really fun. There were some dirty games like blind-folding us and then we had to cross many obstacles like climbing onto a table and crawling under another table and stepping on Colgate toothpaste with our bare feet in a dark room ( but it was very fun =D).So after the Mighty Mens Games we washed up , ate dinner and went for a wonderful time of praise and worship.This time we ended at 11.45pm thus the curfew was at 12.32am.So after the service, my DG (DNA) gather to pray for Phoebe as she was sick and then we went back to our rooms. RCI went to eat some of the Ovaltine biscuits Charity brought and then went to sleep.

Day 3
We woke up and then went to eat breakfast as a DG and then all the ppl went to the ballroom.After that we split up for Level Time Out.So we Level 1 D.C. stayed at the ballroom while the rest of the levels went to other smaller ballrooms. So first we started to play some pre-service games. Teacher Johnny and Teacher Dora were the MC s and after that we had a dynamic time of praise and worship and after that Coach Elizabeth ( our level head )told us her testimony after she joined DARE about 15 years ago. Then Pastor Daniel told us some background about some Dare leaders such as Teacher Kevin(little Kev) and Teacher James and he also told us that we are very blessed to go to DARE . After that he showed us an illustration of a non-believer which has no roots becos he had not accepted Christ yet could be blown of by the wind but when a boy who is a believer with will have many strong roots which are also very deep becos of God's love could stand strong and would not be blown away be the wind no matter how hard the wind(devil) tries to up lift its roots.After that we ate lunch and then everybody gathered in the ballroom for the start of High School Saga(game).We were suppose to help Inspector KK Loone to solve the death of a girl called Candice with some evidence stations and questioning stations.After the game , we ate dinner and then went back to our rooms to get our bibles for the service. During the service we had an awesome time of praise and worship and then after the preaching, we were anointed with oil. Many ppl cried and some of them fell. The presence was so great.After everything we went back to our rooms bathe and then went to sleep.Zzzzz.....

Day 4

After eating breakfast , we gather in the ballroom,but this time b4 we go to another ballroom for the Men's & Women's Meeting Pastor Dan(Daniel) wanted us to gather together for a full band Praise and Worship session instead of one where the girls and guys have separate Praise and Worship session only with a few instruments thus it was not as dynamic.Then after that we split for the Men's & Women's Meeting . Then we ate our lunch and had a DG time out. My DG(DNA) had to change into our swimming suits becos our DGL (Teacher Johnny) allowed us to swim. We played for a while and then our DGL talked to us for a while then we went back to our rooms . But I got locked out of my room cos Charity and Rachel were from different DGs and they had the lift cards so I had to wait for them to come back cos different DGs were at different places. After they came, we bathe , wore our theme night clothes and then went for dinner.Since that was our last night, the buffet food was delicious.There was mini pizzas , spaghetti ,beef lasagna ,potato wedges, ice cream ,etc. After that we went into the ballroom for the Theme night .That night Teacher Dora and one of the coaches were the MCs. There were a few performances and after that we had praise and worship for like 3 -4 hours until the musicians needed a break and my muscles ached becos I only sat down for one minute and the rest of the time I was either jumping or standing . But it was awesome ! During the Praise & Worship , all of us were anointed with oil again and many ppl cried and more ppl fell becos the presence was so strong and Pastor Dan could just lay his hands on someone's head and say " Feel it " a few times and the youth would just fall down.So all the Royal Stewards were quite busy (I guess). But it was really a WONDERFUL , AWESOME , DYNAMIC Praise and Worship Service . Actually it goes like this( if you are confused):

Ok. But the sad thing was we didn't sing these 2 song : the blink blink song(My heart overflows) and God is moving.We ended like about 1.40am and then since it was the last night , there was no curfew.Thus after we were dismissed , there was a jam at the lobby (again) and then we changed into other clothes and then RCI went to Abigail , Annabella and Nicole's room to play.Until 2.30am , then we went back to our rooms and went to sleep.

Day 5
We woke up at 9am , packed our bags ,then checked out and then went to eat brunch. My bus set off at 1pm and arrived at Suntec City at 7.30pm (2 1/2 hours later then the time stated on the camp briefing list). But the sad thing was 2 buses broke down on the way.So I think they arrived back at maybe 10pm? Who knows? But I am very sad that the camp has passed in just a blink of the eye.But I enjoyed it , but I still missed it. How? I just got to wait for EJ4 next year.=D

GEMS Graduation Party

Yesterday , it was the GEMS Graduation Party.It was really fun.Uncle Stephen was the photographer. We had an awesome - packed Praise and Worship by singing 4 praise songs followed by 2 worship songs.Then there were 2 performances , the first one was a performance by the 2nd service girls. Their dance moves attracted quite alot of people's attention. The next one was by a group of boys from the first service.They acted out the story from the bible.
It was really funny becos at some parts they made us laugh.By the end of the act , the audience roared with laughter. After that , 4 gemmers shared with us their testimonies . Then we had another time of Praise and Worship and followed with a phototaking session by each care group and then we all went off. So sad got to leave GEMS liao . But on Tuesday can go EJ3 Camp so excited !

DARE Welcome Party

On Saturday, we went for the DARE Welcome Party at MGS(Secondary).We went to the sports hall and played games like shoe kick , fastest fingers first , monster , charades ,crane and crows , etc. At that the best thing was we were given a DARE certificate to prove that we are now DARE youths.2 moro is the GEMS Graduation Party liao . So sad cos hav to leave GEMS.

Vietnam Trip

Ok. I am typing what I wrote in my diary during my Vietnam Trip on the 7 th November to the 13 th November. Oh ya some facts first , the time in Vietnam is one hour earlier so when singapore is 5 pm in Vietnam it is 4 pm and the currency in Vietnam goes by thousands so Singapore $1 is 10000 Dong ( Vietnam 's currency)ok? Now let's start!
* VNT means Vietnam time.

Ok about Vietnam .I will just like show you what I did.(It was fun)=D

Day 1
We took the plane and went to Vietnam(Ho Chin Minh City) . Then we booked some tour packages, ate lunch then went shopping.Then went for dinner then sleep ~ nothing much.hehe....

Day 2
Once we woke up we went to the tour office called Singh Cafe and boarded the coach . We took a 6 hours ride to Mui Ne Resort.Ate lunch then check-in then we for a tour.We went to the fishing village . There were many children at the fishing village selling things such as sea-shelled necklaces and seashells.Then we went to the white sand dunes and slide down the mountains of sand .It was fun but the tired part was when we had to climb up the sand dunes to slide down again. But it was really really fun and fast.=DWe then went to the red canyon to take photos it was a mini version of the Grand Canyon. We then went back to the resort and swim becos we were not hungry.We then bathed and went to the restuarant . The children sat on one table except Joel and the adults sat on another table.We (kids) ordered pizza and spagetthi and fruit shakes like mango shake and strawberry shake.The food was really nice except for the pizza , there was too much oil so we took our spoons and pressed the pizza so the oil would come out then we poured them into a bowl.We then went to Aunty Wendy's room to watch TV(Cartoon Network in English)while the parents went to fellowship.After they fellowshiped we went back to our rooms and slept.

Day 3
We woke up went to eat breakfast then went to Aunty Wendy's room again to watch TV until the adults finish eating their breakfast.We then went to the beach to play and catch crabs . we then went to the swimming pool to swim .After that , we ate lunch and then took the coach back to Ho Chin Minh City.We left our luggage at the counter then went to the night maket to eat dinner . The night market was crowded! Then were many stalls and hawkers . We ate dinner and then went to shop. The best part was when we wanted to go home,we sat trishaws back to Dong Do hotel(its the hotel we lived in).It was very fun and relaxing . We then paid the trishaw riders and went back to the hotel . Back at the hotel , my sister and I watch Casper the friendly ghost movie on Disney Channel in English (of course!) b4 we went to sleep . It was a nice movie...

Day 4
Rise and shine! We ate breakfast then went to Sinh Cafe to go for another tour. On the coach the tour guide gave us some riddles.We went to the bum boat station and sat a boat to a village.We went to a rice paper factory.It was real fun . They showed us how to make rice paper then we bought some and headed on. We stopped at one stop to eat lunch.The food prepared by the villagers was DELICIOUS.The soup was sweet , the chicken was nice the rice was soft but the spring roll was a little too not nice.hehe=D. We then went to sit the bum boat to another village. We took a pony ride .The children(except Joel) took one cart while the adults took the other cart.It was real fun but if you sit near the pony , you can smell its poo . Stinky! We then went to the bee farm.They let us eat some sugar coated peanuts , coconut sweets and let us drink honey and lemon juice.Hmmm........yummy=D.They after that showed us how the y attracted honey and let us take some photos with snakes if we wanted to but I didn't so Grace , Rachel , Ezekiel and I went to see some guinea pigs and that was when a red bee came over and stung me on my left arm . It was so painful lah until I cried then the tour guide came and took me to a hut .The lady took some honey , took out the needle and spreaded the honey on the wound.The pain lasted for about half an hour.During that half an hour we took a boat ride along the river.The children except Joel (as usual ) sat in one boat and the adults sat in another and during the ride , my sister pulled down some branches on the way to make it feel like an adventurous ride becos the branch would bounce back later.We sat the boat all the way until the bum boat .We then took the bum boat to a coconut sweet making factory . They showed us how they make coconut sweets.We tried some and my mum bought 20 packets! So much lah!After that we went back to Sinh Cafe. We then went to the night market (it is not the tour.the tour finishs once we reach Sinh Cafe) to eat dinner then as usual we shopped but now on the other side of the night market and walked back home once we finsh shopping.The distance was quite far but the adults wanted to walk so how can the children disobey?

Day 5
Actually , today there is nothing much lah. We walked to the day market after eating breakfast and by the time we reach there it was already lunchtime becos we went to the spectacles shop to make spectacles cos quite cheap.Joel , Ezekiel and Uncle Roger made 2 new pairs of spectacles and the rest of us made one pair .So when we reached the market, we ate our lunch and went to shop(what else can you do at the day & night market besides eating and shopping?) While the ladies shop for clothes , shoes ,etc. , the guys went to sports shops to check out the sport shoes and so on and the children occupied ourselves with Joel's Gameboy Advance and PSP and Ezekiel's tamagochi (ok. I don't know how to spell it).After that at about 6pm VNT (Vietnam Time) we(the children) started started to grumble so the guys bought us to Lotteria (it is a fast food restuarant in Vietnam) to eat.There were burgers , rice and chicken and fries , whatever you would get in a fast food restuarant.But the fish and chicken burger(those were the only burgers we ate) there is delicious better then KFC , Burger King and McDonalds.We enjoyed it so much lah . And overall the bill for us was only 250000 Dong /S$25 for all 9 of us .Quite cheap. We then headed back to Dong Do hotel.Once I reached the hotel , I bathe and went to sleep at 7.30pm VNT becos I was not feeling well the whole day while the rest watched a Disney Channel Movie but Joel and my sis went down to play computer.

Day 6
Wake up! We went to Sinh Cafe for another tour . It was the war tunnels in Vietnam during a war between the North and South of Vietnam . When we were suppose to go though the dark tunnels , Deborah ( my sister) cried all the way though becos she was so scared and me , i was laughing the whole time though the tunnels.=D Ha ha! After the tour , we went to PHO 24 to eat lunch then went to the day market to do more shopping then at 5.00 pm VNT we went to collect our spectacles and then went to the night market to eat dinner . Yum! the food was so delicious . The pasta and minced beef , beef noodles, crispy noodles and shabu shabu ( a type of Japanese fish) were very nice.So the whole group ordered and ordered and we ate to our fill.We then shop and then we sat the trishaw for the very last time in Vietnam it was really fun. We loved it so much. We then alighted from the trishaw and sat at the lobby .Some of us played computer but Stephanie and I played with Joel's PSP while the adults decided whether we should go to the parliament house and take some photos as it was already 12.20amVNT.So end out we went to the parliament house to take some photos and then we went back to our hotel .When we arrived at the hotel , it was closed already becos it was already 1.30amVNT so we pressed the bell and knock on the door to wake the reception who sleeps at the hotel up. So they came and opened the door and we said sorry becos we disturbed their sleep.So straight away we went to our rooms and packed and went to sleep at 2.30am.VNT

Day 7
We woke up at 6am VNT and went to eat our breakfast then rushed to the airport to take our plane back to Singapore. So sad hav to go back to Singapore.


The End

A visit to D.A.R.E(dead and resurected eagles)

On Saturday, The whole of GEMS visited DARE (youth ministry of new creation church)we were given a limited edition wristband like a welcome gift . When we entered we play some ice-breakers and went into our DG (DARE Groups). Actually, nearly all the Zebuluns were in the same DG , DNA- the name not the science thing.Then we went to join the service upstairs and had P&W . The music was so loud but I still enjoyed it . Then , Pator Gabriel preached to us about praise . So sad lah Pastor Dan not here , he went to Candan with Pastor Prince and a few other pastors.DARE is like the main service the adults get on Sunday.I think I will like DARE.Wonder whether Charity would change to my group cos her DG home so far.

Artic Tales

Today , the whole P6 level went to Tiong Bahru Plaza to watch the movie" Artic Tales " the show was very nice it was by Natinal Geographic channel.The movie was hilarious at some parts and sad at some parts .It told us that global warming would lead to the seperation of iceand then the walrus had to go to another place carrying at least 200 or 2000 (I forgot) pounds of blubber with it and walrus can eat 4000 or 40000(I forgot) clams per meal and then after that they will start farting the whole herd and you will hear farting sounds and the walrus using their hand to cover their noses . Overall I had a great time eating popcorn , nanchos and potato chip .(It is not everything lah ok? just ... aiya just not the whole packet or box lah!) Though this and the CIP at Changi Beach , I conclude that we should save the environment and protect planet Earth .

CIP @ Changi Beach

Ahhh... so relieved(cos I had gastric pain becos I did not eat anything during the break). Today, my class and another two more classes went to Changi Beach for CIP.Upon arrival there we had a break then started with our first ativity of picking up man-made litter lie glass bottle and my class even found a helmet and a half- chopped pineapple . Next ,we had to pick up natural litter such as dead fishes . dead leaves and seaweed. The last activity was seining but I could not go for it (although I brought a extra set of clothes) as I did not want my shoes to get wet.Thus I missed the fabulous experience . But we caught some jellyfishes,sea urchins , leaf porter crabs , fishes and other sorts of crabs.It was a fun experience and I can't wait for 2moro as the whole Primary 6 level will be going to watch Artic Tales ( movie ) at a shopping center( i forgottenthe name,sry)~ can't wait!

~Stress Frenzy~

Today , I taught Talia how to play Stress ( card game ) then our form teacher , Mr Chua , saw and got interested and started playing also .Then, Joanna ,Jolene,Chu Yao , Alan , Sui Hoi & Say Yian also learned how to play.While Marc did not know how to play joined in and brokedown because of stress(not the game!)And Ying Hui,Glad,Vera ,Kelly and Sandra played Snap! at first and they were snaps all over . You could hear people yelling Snap! , Ouch! and you could hear bangings as they were banging on th etable to play Snap!- of course.2moro going to Changi Beach to do CIP . So sad not in same group as Joanna.But I can't wait for the Vietnam Trip ! Oh so excited!=D

GEMS T- shirt

Yay! 2day all the people in GEMS received their GEMS Graduation T-shirt . It was so nice ! All the CG names were on the shirt.So excited to wear it!Today's service's P&W was a little bit dull cos no guitar=( so sad... So didn't really jump much.So sad , today was the last CG we have for GEMS.Next week going to DARE so excited!Yipee!

Outdoor Expedition Day 3

This was happening on Friday.

Yipee!!! So happy and exhausted at the same time. Today we walk from school all the way to Pasir Panjang Food Courtby passing through Kent Ridge Park . Walk you know! at first we had field cooking in school. We cooked baked beans , sardines in tomato sauce , cocktail sausages , chicken in mushroom sauce and rice.When the food was ready Peter used the ( this is really disgusting and funny=D) empty messtin and took his share . He was the first to take the food . He took a quater of the rice cos there was 4 people in the group then he put the baked beans over the rice , then the chicken in mushroom sauce over it then the sardine and some tomato sauce and then each of us was suppose to get 11 sausages each becos one of them was a Malay so cannot eat pork.Then Peter just took the 16 sausages without knowing then when wetold him he was suppose the have 11 only, he put 5 back yuck! But the worst thing is he mixed all of them 2gether so me and Isaac was like laughing till we choke and our stomachs ache . But surprisingly , Peter said it was very delicious.My team was the first one to finsh everything including washing up of the messtins so we got 15 bomb bags . Yay! When we were ready to set off to our destination, our "ghost" was a BB(Boys bridgade) official called Mr Nicholas Wong but we called him Mr Fiona becos his haversack had the word Fiona with a smiley face. We were the 3rd last team to set off becos off an assignment .I felt that he was a good teacher "ghost" becos he made I strategies and think alot and allowing us to be creative and think out of the box .That enabled us to go through a few shortcuts which save alot of time letting us cliching for the 4th prize . Sherry and Luther's group got 7 th position.Next , it was the battle of our lives season .We were suppose to aim at other opponents and I accidently I repeat accidently threw a water bag at Sherry and Luther.So sorry guys!After that we headed for Pasir Panjang Food Center to eat .A lot of people ordered ice kachang while the teachers bought drinks and food like fried kway tiao.I did not order anything but ate the cake that the teachers gave us and a mufin that I made yesterday and read my book while waiting for the rest of them to finish eating then we could board the bus to bring us back to school.Ah... so satisfied and happy and of course EXHAUSTED!!!!!!!

What's wRoNG???

What's wrong . I just don't get it why must people hate each other after PSLE and why must they hold grudges and why can't they just forgive the person .Jesus forgave you of all your sins you know with pain and now you can just forgive without pain.Why why why ... why are you all just so unforgiving I just can't stand it! It's really very frustrating ! Why can't you just forgive her ? When all of you betrayed me I still forgive you and now when you are angry with me becos I brought Amanda in but I still forgive you not becos of your sake but for my health and whole being . Why must you have a heart of hatred ? Why ? Just becos of one mistake ? One you know just one! I really don't understand you all...

Post PSLE activities Day 2

2 day , during Literature course, we are suppose to act out a play called "La Bomba" it was a funny play though . My group, Snow , was the first to act out the play.Jolene acted as Manuel , Joanna as Mario , Shekinah as Mario's fren , Cassandra and Talia as narators ,Say Yian as Manuel's mother , Amanda as Mario's father and I as Mr Roybal and Manuel's best fren , Benny. After all my group,Snow clinched 1st place , Casino Royale , the boys group won 2nd place and Jzzz and No name ( they both combine efforts) won 3rd place. And for Outdoor Expedition, we had a lady named Miss Khong ( something like that ) from SBS Transit to talk to us about courtesy and safety on buses and trains she also show us a video and had and quiz and gave out prizes .

I am so excited that 2moro its gonna be an Outdoor Expedition competition until 5 p.m. and I know I am gonna get Champion becos I am more than conquerors though Christ who love me so . Amen .=D

Post - PSLE activities Day 1

Hi Guys! My post - PSLE activity is Outdoor Expedition . At first I was worried cos no girls from my class is in it - all boys (especially the naughty ones .) but end out it turn out to be fun , exciting and interesting.I partnered Sherry and we started our first activity and guess what ! ? Sherry and I won first ! =D Yay! Haha! Not trying to show off lah! Before that we had a 2 hour literature class . It was actually quite fun . We were suppose to make a haiku. It started like this...

Rain clouds in the sky ( If I am correct - something like this lah )
Then we were suppose to continue . So the boys said " Ahma holds an umbrella " Miss Latha ( the teacher in charge ) did not know how to spell the word Ahma . At first she spelled it like this "Amah" then " Ama " then "Amha " we laughed so hard until I nearly cried and someone had to spell it for her . Haha=D But after all everything was fun and literature to me is something fun and not bOrInG =)

My birthday party on 19th October 2007

Today , on the 19th of October , I celebrated my birthday at Himiko Court , my Aunt's house . We played some games and talked alot. Joanna , Talia , Say Yian , Sandra , Cassandra , Amanda , Ying Hui , Shekinah , Sui Hoi and Curtis attended the party. There was alot of food like spaghetti , potato salad . make your own burger , satay , otah , seafood , etc. The sad thing was I lost to Sui Hoi in swimming. So sad maybe it is because I do not have the speed already because I stopped training at Primary 5 becos of the school's workload ~ maybe . But I had a fun time. Bye ! I have got to sign off now!=D

I can't believe it but time flies fast really fast.I am really gonna miss Gems.It created an impact on my life and I think the rest of the gems youths too.But I also believe that Dare is gonna be as fun or even more fun than Gems with Pastor Daniel ( short form Pastor Dan ) preaching to us. Ah... so so so sad Gems is coming to an end.=(

AmAziNG Gems @ Sentosa - 13 October 2007

Hi Guys! Amazing Gems camp was so fun and dirty lah!I was in team Zebulun , it is one of the 12 tribes.My group leader was Dylan and Teacher Johnny , Joel and Eunice were our team teachers. There were other teams such as Joseph , Rubuen , Judah , Gad , Dan , Issachar , Asher and one more which I forgot.We played many games such as Fear Factor LIFE. We were suppose to put our hands into opaque jars . Inside the first jar was a dead frog . The second one was a pig intestine , liver or trotter I don't know which one. This game was the only CLEAN game.

The other games-all very dirty :

Building the tabernacle
Crossing the red sea
Minesweeper
Desert Olympics

And some more which I forgot.

But it was fun altogether.My team Zebulun won 2nd prize because we lost one game called Desert Olympics just by 1 secind and that 1 second got us clinching for 2nd prize.The dinner was delicious too .It was spaghetti with sausages , small pieces of chicken with sauce and cauliflower .
When I reached home I was so tired that I bathe and went to sleep.=D

MOE Research & Excursion @ Fort Canning

Today we had an MOE Research thingy at our school.We were supposed to write down a story that happen to me about my school.It was quite difficult actually but the excursion at Fort Canning was fun.

Fort Canning
-The place where it holds most of my exciting and fun memories as when I was in the PK2 camp @ YWCA we always go to Fort Canning on the second day for 2005 and first day for 2006 to have our dirty yet fun games, to me dirty games = extremely fun games too.

I enjoyed part of my excursion and my fave games was the one about connectivity as I laughed my way though almost well almost cried as Joanna made me laugh like crazy by screaming but she also laughed too . I can't understand why Joanna is so afraid of Mr Foo. It was still a fun day.


I can't wait for Amazing Gems to start 2moro cos I can't wait to roll in the sand . YIPEE!!! I als o can't wait for my birthday it is coming so soon . Usually I can't really celebrate my birthday as I had to revise for my exams as they were on the following week ~ Ahh so happy~

Today I did not go to school becos I am SICK! Argh! I am missing all the fun becos my school is celebrating Children's Day maybe I will miss all the gifts my teachers are giving my whole class but I know I will miss all the concerts that the teacher planned for us.

A helping hand in the rain.=) on 24 September 2007

Let's back track some more ok?

Today it was raining heavily at school and I decided to offer my help shelter the people trapped beause of the rain. So I took Joshua Chamber Yap( the head prefect)'s umbrella cos he lended it to me and sheltered people to the covered play area so they can go to the hall for devotion. When we were waiting for the cars to arrive so I can shelter those in the cars so more cars can come in and it would be faster , Mr Donald Tan said " Who asked you to help?" when I told him I offered to help he handed out his hand so I thought he wanted my umbrella so I said "huh?" cos I need my umbrella what to shelter me what but actually he wanted to shake my hand so when he said " Well Done " then I understood and shook his hand .At about 7.20 then I stopped , sang the National Anthem and then change my blouse ( all my clothes including my shoes were wet but I only changed my blouse.)and then went to class. Before that Jared( Joshua's twin brother which is older then him), Okky and Edwin went to change into the P.E. attire they took from the office.They looked so funny becos Edwin wore a tight Martin shirt (he is from Blackmore) and Okky wore a quite tight Eveland shirt (he is from Martin)and Jared wore a Olson shirt(he is from Blackmore) and he will look Joshua cos Joshua is from Olson only if he change his eyes and hair a little bit.
Overall , that morning was a fun one becos I could offer my help and help other people.I don'tknow why some people will go grumpy all over if they are asked to help with something.

AwEsOmE Praise and Worship on 23rd September 2007 =O

I know now is 28 September 2007 but let's back track ok?

It was a marvellous day as it was GEMS Games Day . The theme - Anyone can play . Instead of the ratatouille 's anyone can cook . The games were fun but the praise and worship was AWESOME !!!

The first four songs we jumped like crazy the whole of GEMS cos it was a combined service. We jump and jump and jump until our feet were aching and painful but it was worth it and FUN =D . Then it came to worship , and it was now when the presence of the Holy Spirit came down on us .

3. Wanting to cry

and when we sang the last song Today I felt like a jellyfish and had no strength to jump and I felt very free as in relax and had no stress but I still jumped and when I sang it like I was out of tune just suddenly so amazing right ? The Charity standing beside me thought what happen why I sounded so so so so so strange but I didn't care and I just sang -it's not about your voice rite? it's about how you praise God whole heartedly or not .
It was just a very wonderful and awesome praise and worship service and I hoped you have felt the presence of God before cos it is AMAZING !!! It can change your life!

It's a sad sad day today . =(

Joanna never come today then I am so lonely in class lah. Nobody to talk to when sitting in class except that irritating Marcus Yeow Wei Xuan ! Argh!!! My sister had just finish going to the High School Musical workshop one hour and 20 minutes ago that I won for her. I think it was fun ?! Catch High School Musical 2 this Sunday 9th September ok?

Never hand up homework day=(

Today is the 3rd time in my whole primary 1 to primary 6 years not handing up homework.I felt like crying lah . Hong Lao Shi is very fierce and scary so you should know I am afraid of her. I really really did not know that there was Chinese homework but still I got scolded . I wish there will not be another time that I will not hand in my homework again if not it will be my 4th time liao so many times I think I would be a record holder liao . You might think that the 3rd time not handing in homework is O.K. but to me it is a very very serious thing already.

Today is the 1st day of the September hols and I will be catching the show " Ratatouille" today with my cousins as it is one of my cousins birthday 2moro.=)I wonder what the show is about and if ya have watched it already I hoped you have enjoyed it ! Happy Hols everyone!

Teacher's Day Celebration = FAILED =(

On Friday , my class organised a Teacher's Day Party for Mr Chua and the rest of the teachers . But all the food was gone before even any teacher came in so it was all very messy and very sad.=(

YYEEEAAAHH!!!Preliminary Exams over liao!!! Hurray!

Ah finally , Prelim over liao now can just rest for one day (that's 2day) then continue work-better than nothing lah.So excited.Got my English Paper 2 results back already, score quite O.k. lah but must improve can't wait for Mathenatics results.=) 2day already have 2 periods of P.E. with dogde ball thrown at me while I was playing badminton.2moro still got another 2 more periods of P.E. our class is so lucky.Thanks Mr Chua ! This Sunday gonna watch Hairspray wonder what it is like .All the best to all of you for PSLE ! Jia Yu!!!

PSLE Oral and Prelimary Compo coming out =( So Busy!

Finally, some fresh air. Now my mind is free out of work cos now is my break time so happy . Can at least relax for a while lah=D. So busy lah , must revise , practice oral and start writing composition. RESULT ? = Being one of the better ones in school so I think it is worth it. Bye gotta go! Please comment!

National Day-Happy Birthday Singapore ! =D

Today Singapore is celebrating her 42nd birthday ! I am so excited ! Today the celebration is on the sea - as in the performance platform is on the Singapore River ( I heard it is the biggest platform floating on the water in the world!)Hm... I wonder what the performance will be like . My fren is performing as an octopus he he ... all the wriggly stuff =D . Today my family and I went hiking with Charity's family and Grace's family . So bad Abigail's family could not come. The performance is starting in half an hour , I better be going . Bye! Oh ya and Happy National Day!=) HAPPY BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE!!!

Lower Primary Sports Day @ Fairfield !=D

Ah! So shack! Today I was helping out at the Lower Primary Sports Day and was incharge of the P3 pupils . Within the first 10 mins , I was sweating like crazy already.After everything I was so tired and I still had to stay back for supplementary.So tired.

Unfairness = Selfish !

Ai yah! Today so unfair! Say the group don't wanna to big then why let Cassandra in huh?Amanda and Glad huh? Why so unfair !!! But never mind I forgive you all lah . Life is just so UNFAIR!!!

Frenship problem! The worst thingy of all ! =(

Ai yah! Yesterday the whole group broke up . Which group to join, i dunno . =D You know girls are petty as usual.They don't wanna hang out with big groups and so on. I just can't wait for the Lower Primary Sports Day 2moro. It's so fun.=) I can still remember last year when I helped out for the equipment. It was so fun lah!=D Afetr heling out we snatched all the drinks and food in front of all the P2s . Hen diu lian leh!But it was fun.This year I wonder what it will be like won't you?See ya!=D and please comment!
